George H. Noell
George H. Noell, PhD, BCBA, is a professor of psychology and the director of the doctoral program in school psychology at Louisiana State University. His work has focused on improving children’s access to high quality education and effective mental health services for those in need. Dr. Noell’s research has also examined methods to improve the quality of treatment plans developed within child behavior therapy and consultation. A central feature of this line of research has been examining methods for improving implementation of treatment plans developed for children. Dr. Noell also serves as the principal investigator for a longitudinal statewide study examining means of assessing teacher preparation. He serves on a number of editorial boards in psychology and education, including one appointment as editor-in-chief. Dr. Noell has received awards from both the American Psychological Association (Division of School Psychology) and LSU for scholarship.
